EXHIBITION HIGHLIGHTS

Our current main exhibition, "Ancient Settlements and Daily Life," features pottery, tools, and household items excavated from archaeological digs conducted over the past fifteen years. The centerpiece is an intact Bronze Age vessel dating back approximately 2,500 years, discovered in the valley just eight kilometers from the museum.

The "Roman Britain" section displays coins, jewelry, and architectural fragments from the Roman occupation period (43-410 AD). Visitors particularly enjoy the interactive display showing how Roman soldiers lived on the frontier.

The Medieval Artifacts Gallery contains manuscripts, weapons, and religious objects spanning from 500-1500 AD. Specialists in medieval history conduct talks every Saturday at 2:00 PM (included with admission).

GUIDED TOURS AND ACTIVITIES

We offer professional guided tours in English, French, German, and Spanish. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and cover the major exhibitions. Group tours (10+ people) should be arranged at least two weeks in advance.

Children's Educational Programs: Every Wednesday (3:30-4:45 PM) and Saturday (2:00-3:30 PM), we run "Young Archaeologist" sessions where children aged 7-12 can participate in hands-on activities including artifact handling, excavation simulations, and pottery workshops. Cost: £5.00 per child.
